Michal Fonea Alexandron is an ESG expert, who manages a portfolio of energy and infrastructure companies in Europe and Eastern Europe. Fonea Alexandron heads the Business Impact Forum at the Hurvitz Institute for Strategic Management and the ESG for Growth Program for NEDs and Executives, both at Tel Aviv University. She is also the Chair of Trustees of Oxford University‘s Climate Alumni Network (OXCAN). Fonea Alexandron had previously acted as a senior manager of networks, global outreach, reporting and assessment in the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investments (PRI – UNPRI.ORG) in London, where she developed, together with institutional investors, the reporting standards on ESG investment issues. Fonea Alexandron holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy from the University of Oxford and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Dr Ira Sobel is the Founder and CEO of Fintech for Longevity, a research and consulting platform that helps the financial sector be well prepared for the demographic trend of aging. Dr Sobel is an expert in the economics of aging with a particular focus on the role of fintech in improving the financial well-being of mid-life and older adults. In 2020, Dr Sobel joined a working group at the World Economic Forum on “Redefining Retirement”. Since that year, she is the head of the Financial Inclusion committee in The Fintech Community of Israel and the International Financial innovation for Aging and Longevity Forum. From 2008 to 2019, she served as a non-executive director of numerous public companies in Israel including the bank of Jerusalem and worked previously as an accountant at KPMG.
